Nortal invites BIM Modeler/ Coordinator for long-term and full-time employment at our service centre in Krakow, Poland.

Responsibilities

• You understand the BIM Protocol and BIM Execution Plan and update the BEP during the progress of the project
• You receive the demands of the internal client (Hardware engineers, Software Engineers, Project Coordinators) and can translate them into tasks for BIM Modellers
• You can setup a clash control between different disciplines and prioritize the clash report
• You report the progress of the modelling works in an administrative system
• You are present in weekly project meetings (sometimes online and sometimes on site)
• You understand the working of Cloud models of Revit on ACC and the different techniques of linking
• You manage the issues through a document management system and oversee the issues of the BIM Modellers
• You support BIM Modellers with modelling techniques and ensure that the modelling work follows the agreed BIM standards and project requirements
• You coordinate the modelling activities between different disciplines and follow up on the progress and quality of the work

Software that is currently in use is:

• Autodesk Revit for building constructions and electrical objects
• Autodesk Collaborate Pro for Autodesk Revit in cloudbased worksharing
• Autodesk Desktop Connector for better use of linking models and Document Management
• Autodesk Construction Cloud for document management and issue management and Model Coordination and ACC Build for quality checklists
• Revizto for setup of multidisciplinary clash control and interdisciplinary issue communication
• Autodesk Inventor for mechanical parts of bridges and locks and specific parts of the electrical installation
• Autodesk Civil3D for specific alignement based cable trays

Qualifications

• You have experience as a BIM Coordinator or as a Senior BIM Modeller
• You have a good knowledge of BIM modelling processes and coordination between different disciplines
• You understand building construction and can read plans and sketches
• You have experience with Autodesk Revit and cloudbased Revit models
• You have experience with BIM Protocols, BIM Execution Plans and clash control
• You have experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud and issue management
• You have good communication and coordination skills
• You have a good command of English
• You are willing to work from the office 2 days per week
