Billingual Medical Front Desk Specialist - Women's Wellness

We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Front Office Medical Receptionist to support our client's Miami-based medical practice. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience handling high-volume calls in a fast-paced clinical setting and is skilled in patient scheduling, Insurance Verification of Benefits (VOB), and prior authorizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Primary focus on answering and managing a high volume of inbound calls (approx. 100 calls/day) via ConnectUC.
• Schedule patient appointments and handle patient callbacks promptly and professionally.
• Perform Verification of Benefits (VOB) and submit prior authorizations using AthenaHealth EMR.
• Provide general front-desk administrative support and assist with patient inquiries.

Language: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (required).

Experience: Prior experience as a medical receptionist with hands-on VOB and prior authorization experience.

Systems: Familiarity with AthenaHealth EMR and ConnectUC (or similar VoIP phone systems) is strongly preferred.

Skills: Excellent communication, strong multi-tasking abilities, and a commitment to maintaining phone coverage during operating hours.

Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a starting pay rate of $6 per hour, depending on skill set and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm EST.
