Job Description

**Job Responsibilities:**

• Prepare and maintain the bar, ensuring all equipment is ready and operational before service
• Greet customers, take orders, and prepare drinks to operational standards
• Coordinate bar personnel and oversee daily bar operations to maintain high service quality
• Identify and report technical breakdowns and equipment maintenance needs
• Conduct monthly inventory counts and report results to senior management
• Monitor beverage consumption demands and maintain stock levels according to par requirements
• Prepare and oversee special occasion bar arrangements
• Train and develop bar staff in accordance with departmental standards
• Ensure employee compliance with work schedules and operational procedures
• Communicate effectively with other departments and senior management
• Strive to achieve 100% customer satisfaction
• Perform all duties in accordance with Food and Beverage Manager directives and hotel operational standards
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records for bar operations
• Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with food and beverage regulations
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns professionally whilst maintaining service excellence and guest relations
• Implement upselling techniques and promote premium beverages and special offerings to enhance revenue generation

Qualifications

• Education: At least a vocational school or high school diploma. If graduated from high school, certification in the related field is required.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the industry.
• Foreign Language: English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
• Courses and Training: Vocational trainings and seminars.
• Skills: Basic knowledge of the products and services in the related field (spirits, soft drinks, cocktails, presentation etc.). Expected to perform other actions that are similar in content. Requires awareness of other related processes.
