The Role

This is a hybrid position for someone equally at home on the floor and in the kitchen. You'll primarily work as a Barista while also taking on two dedicated Prep Cook shifts per week in support of our BOH operations. On high-volume days, you may be called on for additional kitchen support alongside our BOH Lead. This role is built for someone who feels comfortable between both spaces and takes pride in doing both well.

What you'll do on the floor:

• Take orders, serve food and drinks, and guide guests through the menu
• Craft high quality coffee, tea, matcha, and non-alcoholic drinks with care and consistency
• Keep the space clean, organized, and inviting
• Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests
  
  

In the kitchen:

• Support the BOH Lead with prep, mise en place, and production
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization standards
• Step onto the floor to support the front-of-house team whenever capacity allows 
• Step in for additional back-of-house support on busy service days as needed
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 2–3+ years of experience in café or kitchen environments
• Comfort and confidence in both FOH and BOH settings
• A calm, collaborative attitude during busy periods
• A team-first mindset and genuine ease shifting between roles
• Strong attention to detail and a consistent standard of care — front or back
• Interest in music, food, design, or travel (not required, but celebrated!)
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
• ServSafe / Food Handler Certification
