About this role
About the role:
We’re building a financial operations platform for the construction industry — a massive global market still powered by fragmented, decades-old software.
We’re looking for a strong backend or full-stack engineer who enjoys simplifying complex systems, solving high-ambiguity problems, and building reliable infrastructure at scale.
What you’ll work on:
• Unifying fragmented systems behind a modern API
• Building integrations with legacy SQL, DLL and API-based software
• Scaling systems handling millions of API requests per day
• Improving caching, filtering, testing, reliability, and developer experience
• Shipping quickly and working directly with customers
What we’re looking for:
• 1–5 years of backend or full-stack engineering experience
• Ability to work independently and take significant ownership
• Strong problem-solving skills
Employment:
Full-time Location: San Francisco, CA On-site policy: In person, five days per week
Visa sponsorship: Open to visa transfers (e.g., OPT and H-1B transfers) and new sponsorships (e.g., H-1B and TN)
Tech stack: Redis, Postgres, and AWS — CDK and EC2
