Backend Developer (mid/senior)

OBDeleven is all about making car tech easy and accessible for everyone. For over 12 years, we are crafting simple yet powerful diagnostic and customization tools for car lovers globally. And we need your help to keep moving forward.   

As a Backend Developer, you’ll:     

• Tackle ambiguous, loosely defined problems where the right solution isn't known yet. 
• Work in an AI-augmented engineering setup - using coding agents to prototype faster, explore more options, and spend your time on the hard problems rather than boilerplate. 
• Implement logic for new innovative features, making a significant impact on our product.  
• Work closely with mobile, hardware/embedded and other R&D engineers.  
• Own the technical design end to end - scoping, planning, and estimating the full solution.  
• Set and maintain high standards for code quality, even in fast-moving experimental work.  
• Explore and suggest new technologies and improvements for existing functionalities.  

We expect:        

• Solid expertise in Node.js, Nest.js, and TypeScript, with strong experience in MySQL and MongoDB.  
• Hands-on experience using AI coding agents (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as part of your daily workflow - and good judgment about where they help and where they don't. 
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud provider.  
• Comfort with ambiguity and a track record of self-directing through loosely defined problems - you're curious, you pick up new domains fast, and you take real ownership of what you build. 
• Fluency in Lithuanian and full proficiency in English are required.

Salary range     

• Gross salary in a range: 4200 - 8000€ / month (depends on your experience)
