As a Journeyperson B-Pressure Hand Welder at our Airdrie, AB site, you'll be part of a team that shapes Canada's energy future. Your expertise will help us build and maintain critical infrastructure while you build your own career alongside professionals who value both technical excellence and supporting each other every shift. 

FLINT is seeking a Journeyperson B-Pressure Hand Welder with industrial fabrication experience for a temporary job in Airdrie, AB starting August 2026. In this position, you will enjoy a Monday to Thursday schedule, 10-hour workdays, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

This position does not include camp accommodations, living out allowance, or travel allowance. Therefore, it is best suited for local candidates; however, those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fabrication shop.
• Valid Journeyperson Welder certificate/ticket. 
• Possess the mandatory welding tickets: 
  • B-Pressure 
• Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: 
  • CSTS-2020 
  • WHMIS 
• Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions. 
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required. 
• Must have own reliable transportation to site. 

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
