Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer with 4-5 years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, executing API and performance testing, and ensuring high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Create and execute test cases for web applications and APIs.
  • Perform API testing using Postman and Rest Assured.
  • Conduct performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks using TestNG/JUnit.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and validate functionality.
  • Track, log, and verify defects through resolution.
  • Perform database validations using SQL queries.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Ensure test coverage, quality standards, and timely delivery of releases.

Required Skills

  • 4-5 years of experience in Automation Testing.
  • Strong programming skills in Java.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
  • Experience with TestNG or JUnit frameworks.
  • Expertise in API Testing using Postman and Rest Assured.
  • Hands-on experience with JMeter or LoadRunner for performance testing.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Git, and SQL.
  • Good understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
