Audio Transcription Reviewer (Annotator)

Overview:   We are looking for detail-oriented Audio Transcription Reviewers to support an English (US) speech data annotation project. In this role, you will listen to short audio clips and verify or correct word-level segment boundaries and transcriptions generated by an automated alignment system. What You Will Do:  Listen carefully to short audio clips in English (US) Verify and correct word-level timestamp/segment boundaries generated by an automated system Review and correct spoken-form transcriptions per a detailed style guide Flag ambiguous or unclear audio segments for adjudication Maintain consistency and accuracy across assigned batches Project Details:   Start Date: 7th Sept (Monday) Commitment:15–20 hours/week   Job Type: Freelance Location: Remote (India) Pay Rate: USD 4.55/hour    Requirements: US cultural expertise in English; strong listening comprehension Prior experience in transcription, annotation, or data labeling preferred Comfortable following detailed style guides and annotation instructions Good attention to detail, especially for timestamp/boundary precision Reliable internet connection and a quiet working environment with good headphones  Join Welo Data to be part of an impactful project that helps make AI more culturally relevant and inclusive.
