This is a confidential opportunity with a nationally recognized plaintiff-side litigation firm focused on sophisticated shareholder, corporate governance, and derivative litigation.

We are seeking a talented attorney to become a pivotal member of a high-performing derivative litigation practice. This role offers the opportunity to contribute immediately through strategic legal analysis, exceptional legal writing, and independent case development while working closely with an experienced litigation team.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Legal Analysis: Contribute to strategic litigation through sophisticated legal analysis, issue spotting, and litigation strategy.
  • Document Drafting: Draft complex pleadings and motions with precision and persuasive arguments.
  • Case Management: Independently manage case components, ensuring timely progression and strategic impact.
  • Research: Conduct thorough legal research, analyze complex corporate documents, identify inconsistencies, and develop compelling litigation theories.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with partners and attorneys to refine litigation strategies and optimize outcomes.
  • Professional Growth: As the practice expands, have the opportunity to mentor junior attorneys and take on increasing leadership responsibilities.
  • Litigation Support: Support all phases of complex litigation, including motion practice, depositions, mediations, and strategic case development.

What we’re looking for:             

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years handling corporate governance, shareholder, derivative, securities, or complex commercial litigation matters.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated ability to draft sophisticated pleadings, motions, and other high-quality legal documents.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong forensic mindset with the ability to analyze complex corporate documents, identify inconsistencies, and develop strategic litigation theories.
  • Bar Admission: Admission to a U.S. jurisdiction; Delaware bar preferred.
  • Writing Ability: Exceptional legal writing skills with a focus on clarity and persuasion.
  • Personality Traits: Self-starter, confident, analytical, collaborative, accountable, and proactive.
  • Technology: Comfortable leveraging AI and modern legal technology to enhance litigation efficiency and legal analysis.
