Associate / Senior Associate, Lending Platform Lead, Consumer Banking Group

Lead the digital transformation and platform strategy for lending journeys, driving product innovation, customer experience enhancements, process automation, and platform modernization across channels. The role will focus on building scalable, efficient, and customer-centric lending platforms while ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and technology strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the lending platform roadmap and delivery strategy across retail and digital lending products.
• Drive digital onboarding, loan origination, servicing, and customer journey enhancements.
• Partner with Business, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Product teams to deliver end-to-end lending solutions.
• Identify opportunities for AI-led automation, process optimization, and productivity improvements.
• Define, prioritize, and manage platform features, enhancements, regulatory changes, and strategic initiatives.
• Drive API integrations and solution architecture decisions across interconnected banking and ecosystem platforms.
• Monitor platform performance, customer adoption, operational efficiency, and service reliability metrics.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and vendor management to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
• Analyse customer feedback, business metrics, and industry trends to continuously improve lending experience and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to governance, risk, security, and regulatory requirements across the lending platform landscape.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in digital banking platforms, lending systems, and customer onboarding journeys.
• Good understanding of platform architecture, APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.
• Experience in managing digital transformation and platform modernization initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• AI-first mindset with a focus on automation, innovation, and process simplification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and agile environment.

Preferred Background

• Experience in retail lending products such as Personal Loans, Gold Loans, Loan Against Property (LAP), Mortgages, Business Loans, or other consumer lending products.
• Exposure to digital lending ecosystems, loan origination systems (LOS), loan management systems (LMS), and workflow automation platforms.
• Experience in banking, fintech, or financial services organizations undergoing digital transformation initiatives.
