As an Associate Representative - Customer Service, you will respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person, providing exceptional service and resolving routine questions and issues. You will process orders, returns, invoices, and credits while helping customers identify products and solutions that meet their needs. In addition, you will support warehouse operations through receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. The successful candidate will work closely with customers and internal teams while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers with orders, product inquiries, pricing, returns, and issue resolution.
  • Process customer orders, invoices, credits, and returns accurately and efficiently.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions.
  • Receive, inspect, and put away inbound inventory while maintaining accurate records and warehouse organization.
  • Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Load and unload shipments safely and assist with inventory movement throughout the warehouse.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in accordance with safety standards and training requirements.
  • Support inventory control activities, including stock replenishment, cycle counts, wire cutting/spooling, and material returns.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and warehouse teams to ensure efficient operations and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • High School Degree or Equivalent required; Associate degree (U.S.)/College Diploma (Canada) preferred
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • 1 year of sales experience preferred
  • Direct Sales (B2B) experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of retail and wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques preferred
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services including, customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Ability to build working relationships with other functional areas to best support mutual objectives
  • Basic problem-solving skills and ability to analyze information in order to provide excellent service to internal and external customers
  • Ability to research and resolve customer issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, EECOL also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
