Assistant Sales Manager

At Crowne Plaza New Delhi Mayur Vihar – An IHG® Hotel, we are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented, and customer-focused Assistant Sales Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Supporting the Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve hotel revenue targets.
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities across corporate, MICE, social events, and other market segments.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and key business partners.
• Conducting sales calls, client meetings, hotel presentations, and property site inspections to generate business.
• Preparing proposals, negotiating rates, and following up on leads to convert enquiries into confirmed business.
• Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities to strengthen the hotel's market presence.
• Coordinating with Revenue Management, Reservations, Front Office, and Banquets to ensure seamless guest experiences and successful event execution.
• Maintaining accurate sales reports, client databases, sales pipelines, and account production records.
• Supporting the achievement of monthly and annual sales targets while maintaining strong client relationships and service standards.

What We Need from You:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in hotel sales, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Good understanding of corporate sales, MICE, client relationship management, and revenue generation.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to identify new business opportunities and build long-term client partnerships.
• A proactive, target-driven approach with strong organisational and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
