Assistant Resident Engineer

Position Summary The Assistant Resident Engineer provides senior-level construction management and field engineering support for public infrastructure projects from preconstruction through closeout. Working closely with the Resident Engineer, this role assists with contract administration, field oversight, quality assurance, schedule monitoring, inspections, and coordination among owners, contractors, designers, utility providers, and regulatory agencies. This role supports public infrastructure projects and may include aviation, maritime/port, heavy civil, utility, or other capital improvement projects, depending on client assignments. The Assistant Resident Engineer serves as a key field representative responsible for monitoring progress, resolving technical issues, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and facilitating successful project delivery.
