Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager – Data Analytics will support the data analytics function in driving revenue optimization, operational efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the airline. This role involves hands-on data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to generate actionable insights. 

The position requires strong analytical and technical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights. The role contributes to ongoing analytics initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform data collection, cleaning, processing, and analysis for aviation operations, safety, compliance, and commercial functions. 
2. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track KPIs and support business decision-making.
3.  Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
4. Support predictive analytics and statistical analysis initiatives under guidance of senior team members.
5.  Work with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, commercial) to understand data requirements and deliver insights.
6.  Assist in the automation and optimization of reporting processes and data workflows.
7.  Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data used in reporting and analysis.
8.  Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
9.  Stay updated on analytics tools, techniques, and aviation industry trends.
10.  Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and standardization of processes within the team.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
2. Proficiency in data analysis and programming tools such as SQL and Python/R
3. Hands-on experience in creating dashboards.
4. Understanding of ETL processes, working with structured/unstructured data and data transformation.
5. Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
6. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
7. Good communication skills, with the ability to explain insights to non-technical stakeholders.
8. Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
9. Initial experience with predictive analytics or machine learning techniques.

Good to Have:

1. Strong proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
2. Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
3. Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs) and CRM tools.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
