Assistant Manager - CoE Talent Acquisition (Factory/Plant)

Talent Acquisition is a part of the Talent & Culture CoE function that focuses on acquiring talents both internal and external that are a good fit to the company’s culture and able contribute to business and people goals positively. 

The Assistant Manager - CoE Talent Acquisition is expected to recruit / attract desired talents (internal and external candidates) through various recruitment strategies/channels. To be successful in the role, the person should be able to identify the recruitment challenges, communicate the challenges and provide recommendations to the stakeholders effectively independently with minimal guidance from the team lead in the beginning. In addition, be an active member of talent acquisition initiatives like referral programme, campus recruitment, EVP programme, etc.

What will you be doing?

• Manage the recruitment process end to end

• Keep an overview of our recruitment needs via regular meetings with our Hiring Managers.

• Verify job descriptions with the hiring manager and design interview questions that reflect the position’s requirements and attract talents to KONE

• Determining selection criteria for the open positions, in line with the KONE-culture and strategy

• Sourcing of potential candidates through different sourcing channels

• Screening of potential candidates and planning interviews and assessments

• Run regular updates to hiring managers

• Will need to make presentations to senior management

• Organize and lead feedback sessions and coordinate the hiring decision

• Propose employment offers in line with KONE guidelines

• Activate background check and conduct reference checks for the selected candidate

• Ensure that the recruitment process is efficient, effective and equitable

• Implement South India EVP initiatives, both internally and externally

• Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events for South India

• Foster long-term relationships with candidates

• Conduct Hiring manager and Brand ambassador workshops

Are you the one?

• At least 10+ years of experience as an in-house recruiter and in an agency environment

• Should have a recognized Master’s degree / Degree in related field

• Well versed in social media, resume databases and professional networks

• Experience with headhunting for mid to senior positions

• Hands-on experience with full cycle recruiting using interview techniques

• Experience with assessments is a plus but not a must

• Good interpersonal and influencing skills. Has the ability to engage senior stakeholders

• Experience / exposure in implementing TA programs e.g. referral programs, Employer branding projects (not mandatory)

• Growth mindset and learning agility

• Has a strong passion and desire to make a difference
