Assistant Finance & Business Support Manager

A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Monitor expenses and analyze variances against budgets.
- Ensure accurate accounting records and timely reconciliations.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare financial analyses and management reports
- Monitor business performance through KPIs and recommend improvements.
- Assist in developing and implementing financial controls and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments to support business objectives.
- Support procurement, contract administration, and vendor management when required.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in risk management and business continuity initiatives.
- Support special projects and process improvement initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a similar capacity within the hospitality industry.
- A solid technical accounting knowledge, strong business partnering skills, and leadership capabilities.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting.
