Do you enjoy being creative and bringing joy to others through art?
We’re looking for a kind-hearted volunteer to support arts and crafts sessions with residents at HammondCare Wahroonga, many of whom are living with dementia. Through simple, meaningful activities—like painting, colouring, collage, or craft—you’ll help create moments of connection, self-expression, and calm.
No special skills are needed—just a gentle presence, a listening ear, and a love for sharing creativity with others.
Your time and compassion can help brighten someone’s day in the most beautiful way.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

18 years or older • NDIS Worker Screening Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare •
We are seeking to run a class Friday morning between 9:30-10:30am.
