We're looking for a ARF Certified Administrator to oversee our Community Care Facility (CCF) homes within the Residential Program. In this rewarding role, you'll blend leadership, compassion, and organization to creat a safe, supportive, and empowering space for our residents.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

 

1.      The Administrator ensures and maintains regulatory compliance as mandated by licensing and Regional Centers.

2.      The Administrator ensures the health, well-being, and safety of the Members.

3.      Responsible for maintaining regular communication with conservators and other outside agency representatives.

4.      Maintains appropriate staffing for the facility in accordance with the program design by hiring and training staff, generating schedules to ensure adequate supervision and support of the Member, as well as by delegating those duties that will best serve the Member and the needs of the home.

5.      Oversee daily facility operations- i.e. Member notes documentation, medication audits, personal and incidental funds disbursement and audits, physical plant inspections.

6.      Maintains Member and staff files, time card review, amendments and approval, conducts employee 90-day probationary reviews and annual performance evaluations.

7.      Actively participates in the process of selecting residents to fill facility vacancies. Maintains a waiting list of consumers for CCFs.

8.      Communicate with staff regarding quality care assurance.

9.      Maintain safety compliance to prevent staff and Member injuries.

 

10.  Responsible for resident care such as scheduling medical appointments, following up on recommendations by the doctor and ensuring the well-being and the overall medical condition of the residents.

11.  Responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing Individual Program Plans in conjunction with program staff and home managers for CCF Members.

12.  Participate, as needed, with placement agency counselors, residents, family, and care providers in the annual review process.

13.  Responsible for all resident records in homes and at agency reviewing and updating, training and monitoring care providers re: entries, etc., including medical and dental appointments and consumer weights.

14.  Maintain a schedule that allows for weekly visitation, leading socialization groups, etc., with each home and its residents.

15.  Submit weekly reports regarding activities and responsibilities to the Director of Residential Services.

16.  Audit and monitor facility petty cash, consumer P&I funds and consumer spend-down funds.

17.  Coordinate all CCF medical and dental appointments and communicate to staff, parents and Director of Residential Services all pertinent medical information. May need to transport to medical appointments if there are medical transporters available.

18.  Maintains regular communication with Members’ day programs.

19.  Ensure that the Member Emergency Sheet reflects the most current information.

20.  Perform monthly house inspections and resident file audits for the CCF homes.

21.  Participates in initial and ongoing training and promotes staff attendance in all mandatory in-services and trainings.

22.  Monitors Direct Support Staff performance and completes employee 90-day and annual performance reviews.

23.  Responsible for reporting immediately to Director of residential Services any unusual incidents that might be harmful to the health, safety and/or welfare of the residents, staff, and visitors.

24.  Responsible for ensuring that vehicle inspections are completed on each shift, per protocol on the WhipAround application.

25.  Attends agency meetings as assigned by Director of Residential Services.

26.  Attends weekly meetings with Director of Residential Services.

27.  Responsible for other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

28.  On call for 2 CCF homes after normal business hours (between the hours of 5pm and 8 am).

29.  Serves as a back-up ARF Administrator to the Weekend QA Manager according to schedule, to be rotated between all QIDP Administrators and ARF Administrators.

30. Maintains a flexible schedule based on the needs of the program.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Directly supervises employees in CC facility. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

CurrentARF Certification required prior to hire.Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Rehabilitation, or related field is preferred. An undergraduate student in the above-mentioned fields is acceptable with two years’ experience in counseling and residential programming. Experience may be substituted for education.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS: 

Ability to read and comprehend in English simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write in English simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in English in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
