Architect, Technology Solutions and Digital Products

This role includes two key functions - technology solutions and service delivery.

Technology Solutions - Lead product development in the appointed region to enable the realisation of Commercial and Operations growth strategies and objectives. Lead the product lifecycle - creation, building, identifying gaps through products evaluations, performance and market research etc. and ensure products developed are fit for purpose.

Service Delivery - Lead the implementation and deliver regional solutions to regional and local offices successfully. Involves working with various teams across the organisation to achieve the desired outcome. Proactively participate in the UAT, training and customer rollout activities in the appointed region.

Technological Product Development
-    Represent Manager in meetings (internal and external) to support Commercial and Operations teams in bids/quotes/proposals to provide technology advisory to furnish customers' stipulated requirements; provide specialist advices as subject matter expert.
-    Oversee and ensure bite-size actionable plans cascaded to the team are completed within stipulated timeframes.
-    Identify technology investment opportunities based on business and financial objectives; provide alternative recommendations where required.
-    Prepare detailed specifications and development costing against market potential and future revenue.
-    Lead the development of product collaterals and materials to support Commercial development plans and activities.
-    Lead the training for various APLL teams for product familiarization and product launch.
-    Partner cross-function teams to develop marketing tactics and pricing strategies.
-    Present product portfolio performance to senior stakeholders.
-    Execute and support in the development of the business architecture of the Company or improve on existing business architecture to help bridge the gap between strategy and execution, and streamline and rationalize the IT enablement process.

Technological Product Quality Assuarance
-    Anticipate internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues.
-    Actively participate in products evaluations to identify gaps, issues with product interface, performance and product functionalities and make enhancement to products based on market and end-user feedback.
-    Evaluate user requirements, product specifications and intended outcomes.
-    Develop key metrics and guidelines to conduct an all rounded assessments of newly developed products.
-    Determine timelines, test environment, tools and approaches required, work allocation and responsibilities in quality testing.
-    Oversee the conduct of quality assurance tests to validate fulfilment of product design requirements and specifications.
-    Manage investigation into quality issues for resolution.
-    Review test scenarios for compliance with established testing procedures and guidelines.
-    Develop reports documenting quality testing outcomes for the relevant development teams.
-    Coach and guide junior colleagues

Technological Solutions Implementation
-    Lead the implementation of solutions within agreed timelines.
-    Lead the service delivery initiatives such as data migration, systems integration testing, UAT and end-user training.
-    Execute customer migration plan to seamlessly transition from one system to another.
-    Identify customer migration problems, analyze causes and develop alternative solutions for interventions.
-    Assist the Manager to develop, implement and effectively deliver change management activities to enable business transformation.
-    Identify change impacts and provide appropriate solutions/measures to maximize positive outcomes of technology changes.
-    Provide ongoing and post-implementation support.
-    Review and update policies, processes and best practices to ensure high standards of customer solutions and service delivery to support customer growth strategies.

Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level (Over 10 to 15 years).
Experience in coaching and guiding junior colleagues to enable knowledge transfer (Over 3 to 6 years).
This is a regional and customer facing role. Regional experiences, experience in handling three or more countries or exposure to an MNC environment is advantageous.
