About this role

Architect – Database Administration
Role Purpose : Leads enterprise database architecture, modernization, performance engineering, and governance, ensuring secure, scalable, high-availability database ecosystems across hybrid and multi-platform environments.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Architect and optimize large-scale database environments across Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or cloud-native platforms.

·       Define database architecture standards, security baselines, backup/restore strategies, and disaster recovery frameworks.

·       Lead database performance tuning, indexing strategies, partitioning, replication, and capacity planning activities.

·       Drive automation of DB provisioning, patching, monitoring, and configuration management across environments.

·       Ensure compliance with data governance, encryption, audit, and regulatory requirements across all DB platforms.

·       Troubleshoot complex database issues, perform in-depth root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.

·       Collaborate with application, integration, infra, and cloud teams for DB design, schema alignment, and performance improvement.

·       Support cloud migration for databases, including re-platforming, refactoring, and managed service adoption.

·       Guide DBA teams, review designs, and enforce best practices across operational and project landscapes.
