We are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Manager to lead our internal IT operations while supporting managed services for our clients. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and the Microsoft ecosystem, combined with a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day IT operations. You will be responsible for maintaining secure and reliable systems, implementing and managing cybersecurity best practices aligned with ISO 27001, and administering Microsoft's security and compliance solutions, including Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Copilot, and the Microsoft Security Stack (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune). In addition to overseeing internal IT, you will also provide technical guidance and escalation support for managed service and help desk operations, ensuring clients receive high-quality IT support and exceptional service.

Position: IT Manager

Salary: PHP45,000 - PHP95,000/month (depending on experience and technical skills)

Working Hours & Conditions: AU/NZ business hours; full-time (remote)

Responsibilities:

      • Oversee and manage the organization's internal IT infrastructure, systems, and day-to-day operations.
      • Implement, maintain, and improve cybersecurity policies, controls, and best practices aligned with the ISO 27001 framework.
      • Administer and support the Microsoft security ecosystem, including Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune.
      • Monitor system performance, security, and compliance, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
      • Manage Microsoft 365 administration, user accounts, identity and access management, and endpoint security.
      • Provide technical leadership and escalation support for managed services and help desk operations, ensuring timely resolution of client and internal IT issues.
      • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable IT solutions.
      • Develop and maintain IT documentation, security procedures, disaster recovery plans, and operational processes.
      • Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies to improve business efficiency and strengthen security.
      • Ensure IT systems remain compliant with organizational security standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

      • 2 to 4+ years of experience as an IT Manager, Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or in a similar senior IT role.
      • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, particularly ISO 27001, including governance, risk management, and compliance.
      • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview for data governance, compliance, and information protection.
      • Experience using Microsoft Copilot and integrating AI-driven productivity tools within Microsoft 365 environments.
      • Strong expertise across the Microsoft Security Stack, including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft 365 Security.
      • Experience administering Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, and endpoint management.
      • Experience supporting managed services (MSP) environments or providing help desk/service desk leadership is highly preferred.
      • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.
      • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
      • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified, Azure, Security, or Cybersecurity certifications) are highly desirable.
