Job Description

The Adobe Target Analyst supports the execution, quality assurance, and ongoing sustainment of digital experimentation and personalization experiences across web properties. This role partners closely with the Optimization, Product, Engineering, and Digital Experience teams to build and deploy Adobe Target experiences, validate A/B tests, maintain winning experiences and production hotfixes, troubleshoot platform issues, and ensure Target activities continue to operate reliably through website releases and changes.

Adobe Target Experience Development & Deployment

  • Build, configure, and deploy Adobe Target experiences in support of A/B testing, personalization, and digital optimization initiatives.
  • Partner with the Optimization team to translate test requirements and experience designs into functional Adobe Target activities.
  • Implement winning test experiences at 100% traffic allocation when appropriate, providing a temporary production solution until the functionality can be developed natively by Product and Engineering teams.
  • Build and deploy Adobe Target hotfixes and experience updates to address production issues while longer-term technical solutions are being developed.
  • Ensure Target implementations follow established experimentation, development, and platform standards.

Quality Assurance & Experimentation Support

  • Perform comprehensive quality assurance for web experimentation initiatives prior to launch, validating Adobe Target configuration, audience qualification, experience delivery, DDE implementation, and overall launch readiness.
  • Validate experiences across applicable browsers, devices, audience conditions, and user journeys to ensure intended functionality and guest experience.
  • Partner with Experimentation Managers, Developers, Product teams, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot implementation issues and resolve defects prior to activation.
  • Support pre-launch and post-launch validation of Adobe Target activities to confirm experiments and personalization experiences are functioning as expected.

Production Support & Experience Sustainment

  • Own the ongoing maintenance and operational health of Adobe Target-powered production experiences, hotfixes, and sustained winning tests.
  • Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and update live Adobe Target activities to ensure experiences continue functioning as intended.
  • Support the sustainment of personalization initiatives and other long-running Target experiences by identifying potential issues and coordinating required updates.
  • Identify and escalate risks or technical issues that may affect experimentation, personalization, guest experience, or data integrity.

Release Coordination & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Web, and Digital Experience teams to understand upcoming website releases and assess potential impacts to active Adobe Target activities.
  • Represent Adobe Target and experimentation considerations during product launch, release readiness, and deployment discussions.
  • Act as a communication bridge between website delivery teams and the Experimentation team, proactively identifying changes that could affect active tests, audiences, personalization experiences, or Target functionality.
  • Coordinate validation of Adobe Target activities before and after website releases to minimize disruptions to active experiences.
  • Maintain expertise in Adobe Target functionality, implementation approaches, and platform capabilities, and provide guidance on best practices.

  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities (KSAs) required.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Target or a comparable experimentation, personalization, or digital optimization platform.
  • Basic understanding of A/B testing, experimentation, personalization, audience targeting, and digital optimization concepts.
  • Basic understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, browser developer tools, and how website changes may affect digital experiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform thorough quality assurance across digital experiences, audience conditions, and user journeys.
  • Ability to identify, document, troubleshoot, and escalate technical issues in partnership with Product, Engineering, and other technical teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced digital environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts and implementation considerations to business and technical partners.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams while also working independently on assigned responsibilities.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Digital Media, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

EXPERIENCE: 

  • 0–2+ years of professional experience in digital marketing technology, experimentation, personalization, web analytics, website operations, digital product development, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Target strongly preferred. Experience with another enterprise experimentation or personalization platform may be considered.
  • Experience building, configuring, maintaining, or quality-assuring digital experiences, website content, personalization activities, or A/B tests preferred.
  • Exposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, browser developer tools, or other front-end web technologies preferred.
  • Experience working with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, Optimization, or Digital Experience teams in a cross-functional environment preferred.
