About the Role
We are looking for aΒ Director of Software Engineering (Full-Stack)Β to lead multidisciplinary engineering, QA, and content teams while overseeing the delivery of enterprise-scale digital platforms powered by Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The role is responsible for delivery governance, technical leadership, stakeholder management, and ensuring high-quality digital experiences across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage multidisciplinary teams of Software Engineers, QA Specialists, and CMS Content Authors.
- Define team structure, capacity planning, and resourcing.
- Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous professional development.
- Own delivery governance, including sprint planning, prioritization, risk management, and reporting to client and internal stakeholders.
AEM Content Operations & Editorial Management
- Oversee the creation, update, and maintenance of editorial, campaign, and product pages across multiple regional websites.
- Govern news publishing, content archival, and content hygiene.
- Manage offers, campaigns, competitions, forms, brochures, galleries, and downloadable assets.
- Oversee dealer and showroom pages, pricing updates, locations, timings, and vehicle model information.
- Ensure effective use of AEM native tooling, components, sheet-based management, and eCommerce content.
- Oversee vehicle landing pages, configurator pages, kiosk pages, and model data authoring.
Digital Asset Management (DAM)
- Oversee the upload, organization, and governance of digital assets.
- Ensure assets are optimized and reusable across markets.
- Govern brochure and model-year asset lifecycles.
Product Information Management (PIM)
- Direct centralized model data management, including model-year updates, specifications, pricing, and product changes.
- Coordinate model rollouts across regional markets.
- Enable compare, configurator, and prices & specifications pages using PIM data.
- Ensure accurate and reusable product data across all markets.
Forms, Lead Management & Feature Enablement
- Oversee campaign, lead, feedback, and dealer forms.
- Prioritize and enable new features based on business requirements.
Digital Services & Web Applications
- Own the maintenance and enhancement of in-showroom web applications.
- Oversee release management, version control, and application updates.
- Drive feature enhancements and UX improvements.
- Ensure synchronization between applications, AEM, and PIM.
SEO, Performance & Quality
- Oversee SEO implementation and technical monitoring.
- Ensure performance, accessibility, and quality standards through robust QA processes.
Localization & Market Enablement
- Oversee market setup and localization of pages, assets, and product data.
- Ensure consistent delivery of market-specific content.
Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the senior technical point of contact for client and market stakeholders.
- Establish training, adoption, and feedback governance.
- Communicate updates, enhancements, and roadmaps while driving continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in digital delivery, web engineering, or technical program management.
- 3+ years in a technical leadership or director-level role.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering, QA, and content teams.
- Strong delivery governance and stakeholder management experience.
- Experience with DAM and PIM systems.
- Experience overseeing custom web application maintenance and enhancement.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
