Job Description

Adjunct Faculty Pool – Sweeney Programs of Construction Management:

Wentworth Institute of Technology invites applications for part-time Adjunct Faculty positions in the School of Management’s Sweeney Programs of Construction Management for Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2027.

At this time, we are particularly looking for candidates interested in teaching:

  • Surveying Labs

  • Building Construction Labs

  • Construction Estimating

  • Construction Project Management

  • Plan Reading

  • Building Systems

  • Quality Control & Assurance

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Master's degree


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree

  • 3 years teaching experience

  • Significant industry-related work experience will also be considered

The Sweeney Programs of Construction Management offers an ACCE-accredited Bachelors degree program in Construction Management with concentrations in Infrastructure and Real Estate and Facilities Management. In addition to the undergraduate program in construction management, the Sweeney Programs of Construction Management also offers two graduate programs in Construction Management and Facilities Management.

Position Details:

 At this time, the university is unable to sponsor applicants for H-1B visas.

Adjunct faculty compensation varies based on instructional mode (lecture or lab), number of course credits, and program. The minimum adjunct rate is $1,684 per credit.
