Accounts Receivable Accountant

Salary starts from 1600 €/gross month (depends on experience) 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate bank postings, invoicing, payment processing.

What you will do:  

• Downloading, verifying, and posting daily bank statements in SAP.
• Preparing and executing payment runs
• Recording incoming and outgoing payments in SAP.
• Matching payments with open items (invoices, credit notes, etc.).
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities related to bank accounts.
• Working closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury teams.
• Communicating with banks and internal stakeholders to resolve payment or posting issues.

What we are looking for:  

• Education in Economic, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with SAP FI.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
