About this role


Job Description:

The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing accounts payable activities for designated companies within the Finance Shared Service Centre. The role supervises and supports a small team of AP coordinators, assigns and reviews tasks, provides training and day-to-day guidance, and contributes to performance evaluation and process improvement. Key responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, compliance with financial policies and procedures, reconciliation of goods received not invoiced, support for month-end activities, and completion of other tasks assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager. The position requires strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounting procedures, attention to detail, organizational skills, teamwork, effective communication, good MS Office skills—especially Excel—and relevant finance or accounting experience.

Job Requirements:

  • Secondary education required, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, administration, or accounts payable.
  • Solid knowledge of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
  • Experience working with accounting or ERP systems; SAP experience is an advantage.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Advanced working knowledge of English; knowledge of another language is an advantage.
  • Previous experience with task coordination, team support, or supervision is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to cooperate across teams.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to support, train, and guide others.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement.
