We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team and support payment processing, vendor reconciliations, audit requirements, and day-to-day Accounts Payable operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, validate, and process scheduled and ad-hoc payment runs accurately and within established timelines.
  • Review payment files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance before release.
  • Verify invoices against tax requirements, company policies, and supporting documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve payment rejections, discrepancies, and processing issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform vendor statement reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Maintain accurate payment records and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documents, samples, and explanations.
  • Respond to vendor and internal stakeholder queries regarding payment status, remittances, and payment-related issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies, payment issues, and process blockers.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance process efficiency, accuracy, and reduce rework.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Operations is preferred.
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles and Accounts Payable processes.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy and reconciliation skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage high transaction volumes and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with good written and spoken English.
  • Experience with ERP systems, SAP, banking portals, or payment platforms is an advantage.
