Accountant/Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting (Vancouver, BC)

You will 

• Handle full-cycle accounting for corporate entities, including consolidated and unconsolidated financial statements, bank reconciliations, partnership equity reconciliations, intercompany analysis and GST filings. 

• Prepare and analyze working papers and multi-level consolidation schedules for corporate entities, ensuring that financial information provided is timely and relevant for effective decision making 

• Research technical accounting issues to support compliance, ensuring general ledger correct reflects results.  

• Support the year-end audit and ERP system improvement initiatives 

• Champion Anthem's culture in the spirit of The Anthem Way 

• Take on ad-hoc analysis and projects as they come up 

You have 

• 2 - 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a complex, multi-entity organization including exposure to consolidations and financial reporting 

• A CPA designation or working towards a CPA designation is highly desirable 

• Strong understanding of ASPE; REALpac experience an asset 

• Proficiency in MS Office 

• Real estate industry experience an asset including previous use of Yardi

Salary range: $75,000 - $105,000 per year, based on level and experience (Accountant to experienced Senior Accountant)
