About this role
Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. This role plays a key part in supporting financial decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable ledgers.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Handle vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and petty cash.
- Maintain proper documentation of invoices, receipts, and financial records.
- Stay updated with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (Master’s or CA Inter preferred).
- 3–7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
