Job Title: Junior Accountant Location: Kamrej, Surat Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹32,000 per month Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Experience: 2+ Years Industry: Automobile Parts Job Overview: We are looking for Accountant with strong knowledge of GST and day-to-day accounting activities. The candidate will be primarily responsible for preparing accurate GST-related data, reports, and supporting documents and providing the required information to the CA for GST compliance and finalization. The candidate should also be comfortable handling regular accounting entries and maintaining proper books of accounts. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain GST-related data, reports, and supporting records. Compile accurate data required for GST returns and provide the same to the CA. Check purchase and sales records for proper GST treatment and accuracy. Assist in identifying and resolving GST-related discrepancies. Maintain day-to-day accounting records and transactions. Handle purchase, sales, payment, receipt, and journal entries. Maintain invoices, vouchers, and other accounting documentation. Perform bank and ledger reconciliations. Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records. Provide accounting and GST-related data to the CA for GST compliance and finalization. Ensure accounting and GST records are updated and properly maintained. Support other routine accounting activities as required. Requirements B.Com qualification preferred. 2+ years of accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GST and GST-related accounting is mandatory. Good understanding of GST data preparation, reports, and documentation. Ability to independently handle accounting entries and maintain financial records. Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and bank/ledger reconciliation. Working knowledge of Tally is preferred, but not mandatory. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Male candidates only.
