Account Manager - Romania & Moldova

Job Description

We are looking for an Account Manager for Romania and Moldova (AM RoMo) to join our sales team. In this role, you will manage and further develop our established network of authorised partners across both markets.

This position is based in Bucharest. We offer a hybrid working model, combining office and home working.

WHAT YOU WILL DO HERE

The AM RoMo will work closely with the local and multi-regional sales team to ensure our Authorised Partners (APs) understand Axis strategy, products, solutions and the value of the Axis Channel Partner Program. You will support partners in developing their business while working collaboratively with colleagues to drive sustainable growth and achieve our regional goals. The role also works closely with the local Key Account Manager and Sales Engineers.

Research, preparation and prospecting…

• Identify and qualify potential business partners, assessing their business potential
• Manage and develop Authorised Partners, identifying those with the greatest growth potential
• Evaluate sales reports to understand the market and plan visits to business partners

Inspiring and supporting our partners…

• Coordinate training activities and inspire our business partners while staying up to date with Axis technology and solutions
• Use Salesforce to manage regional leads, track opportunities and support project registration in close collaboration with the Key Account Manager

Taking action and closing deals…

• Build strong relationships with business partners through regular customer visits and business development activities
• Represent Axis at industry exhibitions, trade fairs and customer events (approximately 5–10 per year)
• Support and participate in Axis Communications Academy events to strengthen customer relationships and promote Axis solutions

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You enjoy building long-term relationships, have a passion for technology and are motivated by helping partners grow their business. Strong communication, analytical and commercial skills, together with a willingness to learn and develop, are essential.

We’d love to hear that you have/are…

• At least 2 years' experience in a B2B sales or account management role
• An openness and enthusiasm to learn about IT, networking and IP-based technologies
• Open-minded, patient and service-minded towards customers and colleagues
• An attitude for bringing new ideas to improve processes and efficiency
• CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
• Fluent in Romanian and English, both written and spoken
• Full, valid driving licence

This role requires regular travel across Romania and Moldova to visit partners and customers. Approximately 50% of your time will be spent travelling, depending on business needs.
