Account Manager, Global Key Accounts, Food Ingredients

Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Establish and maintain the strong relationship with global key accounts, ensure the goals of revenue, profitability and forecast accuracy
• Establish and maintain the strong relation with global key accounts in China
• Coordinate sales activities regarding the responsible accounts
• Define and work out the short-term and long-term key account plan
• Identify, develop and evaluate new business opportunities at existing and new accounts, convert into new sales following business participation strategy in the assigned territory and market
• Monitor industry trends, market potentials, top market player movements, competitive intelligence, and feed back to the team
• Full implementation of business processes and sales tools on Forecasting, Pricing, Opportunities, Call Reports etc. by monthly basis
• Work collaboratively with peers and management to ensure personal and company sales targets and performance measures are achieved and team-based culture fostered

What Makes You the Right Fit 

• Bachelor’s degree and above, major in Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology or relevant;
• 8-10 years of sales, account or business management, or technical service experience in an international company;
• Rich experience working as a sale in B-to-B food industry in managing Global Key Accounts in China;
• Able to work independently and be a good team player, demonstrates respect for people;
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data points and excellent presentation skills;
• Ability to assimilate commercial and technical information fast;
• Good interpersonal and communication abilities to strongly influence others internally and externally;
• Competency in oral and written communication in English, good at communication.

The sale is presently expected to close in the first half of 2027, pending regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. The Food Ingredient business unit will remain a part of IFF until close and, at such time, it will transition to CVC Capital Partners.
