About this role
The Account Manager reports to the Director of Client Strategy.
The Account Manager is responsible for client sales of new projects, hardware purchases, new services, and growth beyond true ups, for the entire book of business: (approximately 50 clients).
What You Will Do
- Run quarterly business reviews: roadmap progress, risk posture, budget forecast, and alignment scores.
- Build and maintain each client's 12 - 36-month technology roadmap.
- Lead risk and compliance conversations (security, insurance requirements, lifecycle).
- Log needs as roadmap items and flag them "AM ready" when the client is interested and budget is discussed.
- Partner with Service Delivery on standard alignment and recurring issues.
- Serve as executive sponsor at the client's leadership level.
How You Will Be Measured
- Roadmap adoption and conversion rate.
- Client alignment and standards scores.
- Client health and retention across the entire book.
- QBR completion on cadence.
What You Will Bring
- 5+ years in IT, with client facing advisory or consulting experience.
- Ability to talk budget, risk and business outcomes with owners and executives
- Broad technical fluency, infrastructure, cloud, security and lifecycle.
- Experience with Autotask, IT Glue, and a lifecycle tool (ScalePad or similar) preferred.
