About this role
We are looking for a highly qualified Account Director to take on the role of Client Lead — the single point of accountability for solving a client's B2B business problems, whatever form they take. The AD is not a specialist in one narrow service; s/he is expected to understand a client's business, sales, and marketing objectives holistically, and to bring together the right mix of strategy, creative, and execution capabilities from across Dentsu B2B to solve it — from concept to delivery.
The AD will own P&L responsibility for their account group, lead the professional development of their team, and build senior relationships with client stakeholders across business, sales, and marketing functions. The AD is expected to operate as a true consultant and partner to the client — proactively identifying problems, shaping solutions, and expanding the scope of the relationship over time.

Job Description:
- Act as the Client Lead — the single point of accountability for the account
- Create and foster client relationships across business, sales, and marketing stakeholders
- Deliver targeted P&L across the account portfolio
- Understand and translate client's business, sales, and marketing objectives into effective solutions
- Proactively identify and pitch new opportunities that expand the client relationship
- Lead the concept-to-delivery lifecycle of client engagements, partnering with internal specialist teams as needed
- Manage team — Account Managers and Account Executives
- Train and develop junior staff members
- Drive opportunities for additional revenue through account growth
- Budgeting and account planning
- Adherence to QA processes
- Other duties as required by Management
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate / post-graduate in Business Management or related field
- Overall 10+ years' experience in client relationship management, with at least 3 years of dedicated B2B experience
- Proven ability to solve B2B client problems end to end — from concept through to delivery
- Successful track record of building relationships and managing engagements with senior business, sales, and marketing executives
- Strong customer service outlook with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly gain in-depth knowledge of customers' needs, requirements, and organisational structures
- Strong business, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Highly organised, with demonstrated ability to create and manage complex account plans, communicated in a straight-talking, open, and easily digestible manner
- Proven capacity to use analytics to drive optimisation and decision-making
- Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills and relevant industry measurement tools
- Professional maturity, integrity, discipline, and a positive attitude
