Role Overview:

Lakshya Digital is looking for a talented 3D Generalist to create high-quality game-ready assets across modeling, texturing, materials, lighting, and rendering. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across multiple stages of the 3D production pipeline and delivering assets according to project requirements and quality standards.

• 2–5 years of experience in 3D art or game-asset production.
• Strong skills in Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, or an equivalent 3D package.
• Good understanding of modeling, topology, UV mapping, baking, texturing, and PBR materials.
• Working knowledge of Substance Painter and/or Substance Designer.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine and/or Unity.
• Ability to create optimized assets for real-time use.
• Strong artistic sense, attention to detail, and understanding of form, proportion, and composition.
• Good communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with ZBrush, Houdini, Marvelous Designer, SpeedTree, or Photoshop.
• Knowledge of shaders, lighting, VFX, rigging, or animation.
• Experience with Perforce, Git, or another version-control system.
• Experience working on AAA, PC, console, or mobile game projects.
• A diploma or degree in Fine Arts, 3D Design, Animation, or a related field.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Create 3D models for characters, environments, props, vehicles, or other game assets.
• Produce clean UVs, textures, materials, and optimized game-ready assets.
• Prepare high-poly and low-poly models, baking maps and creating PBR textures.
• Integrate and validate assets in Unreal Engine and/or Unity.
• Support lighting, rendering, look development, and scene presentation when required.
• Follow project specifications, naming conventions, style guides, and deadlines.
• Troubleshoot asset issues related to topology, UVs, materials, shaders, and engine integration.
• Work closely with artists, leads, technical artists, and production teams.
