What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate a ready mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites.
- Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
- Deliver quality product on schedule while providing excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers regarding deliveries.
- Maintain compliance with company safety policies, DOT regulations, and operational procedures.
What Are We Looking For
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and ability to safely operate heavy equipment.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, reliability, and responsible decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing delivery schedules.
- Strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to perform job duties in a physically active, outdoor work environment.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
