Xo Communications is a telecommunication company in the United States founded in 1996. The firm provides technological solutions and services to enterprise and carrier organizations, including cloud-based services, voice, data, and networking services. Xo Communications has a nationwide wireline network that covers approximately 2,800 cities within the US, making it one of the most extensive fiber optic networks in the country. In 2017, Verizon completed the acquisition of Xo Communications' fiber network business. Prior to this purchase, the firm provided an extensive suite of services to businesses, including Ethernet, SIP trunking, and cloud communications.
