Founded in 2009, based out of Poida, IndiaLava International Limited is an Indian multi-national company in the mobile handset industry. Lava is headquartered in Pradesh, India and has overseas operations in Thailand, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Mexico, Middle East, and Russia. The company has marked its foray into the African continent recently with its partnership with Egypt based Easy Group. Committed to Government of India's 'Make in India' initiative, Lava is working towards establishing the very 1st Mobile Phone Design Center in India. Lava is also working towards ramping up its existing manufacturing units and is in the process of setting up new manufacturing facilities. Lava has an in-house R&D and product-testing set-up in China and India, with several professionals involved in product design and development.
