The seven BIT Extension Centres in India and the three abroad have successfully made the educational and research capabilities of the institute accessible to a large section of youngsters pursuing careers in related fields. The BIT Extension Centre at Noida enjoys an advantageous position owing to its proximity to a major industrial and IT hub at Greater Noida, Gurgaon and Delhi. Located in a posh area joining Noida and Delhi, adjacent to many important industrial houses like Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum, Kribco, PDIL, GAIL etc. It is also just 15 km away from Delhi and very well connected with all neighbouring towns by road. The Centre was established in 1998 after having felt the urgent need of an institution for diversified and advanced educational research, consultancy and training of human resources in IT and Management technology in the Northern sector.
